Client permits Quartz Decor and Events to take photos of set ups, and understands any photos taken can be used for advertisements and marketing.

Quartz Decor and Events is permitted to display their logo on any decorative pieces. 

Any additions or subtractions to estimate will change total price and deposit amount. 

Client understands area for backdrop, balloons, and any other decor must be clear of furniture and other items before our arrival. 

If event is at a venue, Quartz Decor and Events is not responsible for destruction of balloons by venue employees before breakdown. 

Quartz Decor and Events will not transport balloons after the event. 

 

Quartz Decor and Events reserves the right to re-schedule set-up and breakdown time. If an event ends before the contract end time you are responsible for notifying Quartz Decor and Events and waiting for any equipment to be picked up. Failure for Quartz Decor and Events to pick up equipment will result in an additional fee. 

To secure your event date: 

Initial deposits must be paid within three (3) days of receiving invoice to secure date. All initial deposits are non-refundable unless approved by Quartz Decor and Events. 

Initial deposits are at least 50% of total cost. 

Payment must be made in full at booking for all orders totaling less than $250.00.

Any additions made to your order that are an additional cost are due in full at the time of the request. 

The remaining balance must be paid one week before the day of scheduled event. 

Paying initial deposit serves as Client’s acceptance to this estimate and to contract with Quartz Decor and Events.

 

Rush fee: 

Any order needed within 7 days of an event will be charged a $75 rush fee. 

 

Payments accepted: 

Cash, Check, Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, Credit Card, Debit Card.

 

Cancellation:

In the event the Client cancels or postpones any installations with at least one month before the event date, rentals and/or decor for the amount paid will not be refunded. However, a credit will be issued in the amount paid which can be applied to any future event for up to one year from initial event date (subject to availability with Quartz Decor and Events). 

Cancellations occurring forty-eight (48) hours before the event will be issued a credit of 50% of amount paid, which can be applied to any future event for up to one year from initial event date (subject to availability with Quartz Decor and Events).

Cancellations and postponements occurring the date of the event will forfeit 100% of the amount paid and will not receive credit and is under discretion of Quartz Decor and Events. 

Client is responsible to have someone on-site to grant access to the event space by the event set-up start time. Please note in case of a client delay, Quartz Decor and Events will not stay past the set-up end time if we have other events to set-up for. 

If Quartz Décor and Events must cancel, due to any reason, a 100% refund will be given within 7 business days, or Client has the option to receive a credit for future services. 

Balloon Decor and Rental Installations/Guarantee:

For all events, classic balloon decor, and rentals, Quartz Decor and Events does not guarantee any of its products, rentals, or installations to withstand inclement weather, strong winds and/or heat. We recommend all set-ups are placed in the shade and against a wall to prevent balloons from popping and backdrops from falling. 

All services are rendered and non-refundable after installation is complete. 

Once set-up has started, the rentals/backdrops cannot be moved to an alternative location. 

 

Quartz Decor and Events uses professional grade balloons. These high-quality balloons are made with durable natural latex and designed to last both indoor and outdoor. Compared to other brands, they are especially resilient outside with a slower oxidation rate (when balloons are exposed to outdoor air, the texture will change to a velvet/matte texture, which is called oxidation). However, it is recommended to have the balloon set-up out of the sun for the best quality and look. Additionally, conditions of the environment generally dictate the longevity of the balloons. Quartz Decor and Events will not use Hi-shine or other balloons sprays for balloons displayed outside due to the possibility of faster oxidation and popping. Quartz Decor and Events uses high quality balloons to prevent popping and faster oxidation, however, Quartz Decor and Events is not responsible and cannot guarantee a specific amount of time the balloons will last due to the weather conditions (humidity, wind, rain, temperature (hot/cold), sun, etc.). Quartz Decor and Events is not responsible and cannot guarantee a specific amount of time the balloons will last generally, either. 

In case of inclement weather, including but not limited to rain, hail, thunderstorms, Quartz Decor and Events will allow for the Client to postpone to another date/time, if available, for no additional charge, unless location changes to an area outside of delivery zone. 

 

Safety and Liability:

Client is responsible for all of its purchased products after installation is complete. Client is responsible for supervising all use, and preventing all misuse or abuse of helium, balloons, equipment, and material related during the event. To prevent accidents, the event set-up must not be moved from its original set-up location. Client hereby agrees to hold harmless and without liability, Quartz Decor and Events and all principals, owners, or employees from any of the following: 

  • Helium inhalation or injury from lack of oxygen

  • Slipping on popped/broken balloons

  • Latex allergies 

  • Children, adults, and/or animals having access to balloons and materials relating to installation before, during, or after events

  • Children, adults, and/or animals putting balloons in their mouths and choking

  • Eye/facial/body injuries from popping balloons 

  • Heart attacks from balloons popping 

  • Hearing loss or other injuries due to balloons popping 

Lesions, abrasions, suffocation, choking, loss of sign, loss of hearing, dizziness, drowsiness, loss of consciousness, broken body parts, death or any personal or property damage caused or alleged to have been caused by balloons popping or equipment

Rentals:

Rentals include, but not limited to, 

  • Backdrops

  • Stands

  • Artificial florals 

  • Champagne Glasses

  • Beverage/treat wall

  • Balloons

All rental items belong to Quartz Decor and Events and should not be moved without written permission.  

Rental items will be collected by Quartz Decor and Events at agreed upon time with client and Quartz Decor and Events. 

If rental items are damaged, Client will be responsible to replace the item(s) and/or pay to replace the items. 

 

Champagne Glasses: 

Champagne glasses can be rented for $150. This includes delivery of clean, polished glasses, and pick-up of dirty glasses to be cleaned by Quartz Decor and Events.

There will be a security deposit amount of $40. If any of the champagne glasses break, crack, or chip, the security deposit will be non-refundable. 

Paying initial deposit serves as Client's acceptance to the quote and to contract with Quartz Decor and Events.
